Nissan to fire Ghosn for alleged financial misdeeds; Mitsubishi expects to do the same

Nissan is preparing to fire its chairman for allegedly under-reporting his income and using corporate assets for personal use, a company spokesman said. CEO Hiroto Saikawa said the board will meet Thursday to discuss Ghosn's dismissal. Mitsubishi's board will be considering the same action. Monday, Nov. 19, 4:01 am ET
