The AMG GT 63 S Edition 1 features a bigger front splitter with an aero package, graphite grey paint, AMG stripes and 21-inch wheels. The Edition 1 interior features carbon-fibre trim, yellow seat belts, illuminated doorsills, yellow contrast stitching on the magma grey and black leather seats and special floor mats. Mercedes-Benz Canada says the cars will arrive in late 2018.

The 2019 BMW M5 Competition Package offers a bump in horsepower from the standard M5 -- 591 to 617 -- while torque will stay at 553 lb-ft. It sprints from zero to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. It offers a model-specific M Sport exhaust with a unique tone, specifically designed engine mounts resulting in a quicker engine response and model-specific chassis and suspension tuning. The M5 Comp is a bit lower (0.3 inch) than the standard M5, has increased negative camber at the front axle and new toe links with ball joints as opposed to rubber mounts. The rear antiroll bar is stiffer and the front and rear springs are 10 percent firmer than the standard M5. -- Autoweek

The 2019 AMG GT S Roadster can zip from zero to 60 mph in about 3.7 seconds, powered by a 4-litre bi-turbo V-8 engine that delivers 515 hp and 494 pound-feet of torque. The vehicle has a lightweight aluminum space frame, seven-speed dual clutch transmission and a top speed of 192 mph. The roadster will be available in Canadian dealerships by late 2018. Pricing has not been disclosed.

Chevrolet is expanding its RST performance package to cover the Suburban SUV. Following the Tahoe RST, the Suburban RST gets a 420-hp, 6.2-litre V-8 engine, a 10-speed transmission and magnetic ride control. A Borla exhaust system and Brembo brakes are also available.
