LotLinx, a Chicago-based digital marketing company that focuses on auto dealerships, is making a move into Canada starting this month.
Initially, LotLinx is signing up dealer groups with operations in major metro areas such as Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Quebec City, Edmonton and Calgary, starting in mid-October. LotLinx expects to officially launch in Canada effective Dec. 1.
LotLinx technology targets and scores in-market shoppers, based on their online search behavior. It is designed to let dealers analyze their inventory on a VIN-by-VIN basis, to see which vehicles get the most online hits, and which vehicles need marketing dollars the most.
Dealers can funnel ad money to specific vehicles, typically ones that have been sitting on the lot for a while without getting much online traffic.
The company was founded in 2012. In January, it made its tools available in a cloud-based platform for the first time.
Previously, LotLinx customers would consult with the company’s digital strategists to develop the campaigns, but the new LotLinx Turn platform puts that power in the hands of dealers.
