In order to drive growth, J.D. Power has shaken up its management team in Canada, appointing Tim Braley to senior director of Canada and Latin America as J.D. Ney assumes the role of country manager.
Braley is taking over for Darren Slind, a 17-year veteran of J.D. Power, who has been appointed vice-president of Singapore operations.
Braley has led several global growth initiatives in his most recent role as J.D. Power’s senior director of strategy within the company’s global automotive division.
He will now work closely with current country managers Fabio Braga (Brazil) and Gerardo Gomez (Mexico).
Ney, formerly the senior manager of Canadian automotive practice, joined J.D. Power in 2011 and will lead the design and delivery of solutions for Canadian automotive clients including syndicated, proprietary and consulting solutions.
Meanwhile, Slind will spearhead the expansion of J.D. Power consulting services across Southeast Asia, India, Taiwan and Australia.
“We are putting the right people in the right places in order to better serve our clients and grow our business,” Doug Betts, J.D. Power senior vice-president of the Global Automotive Division, said in a statement. “These leadership changes will undoubtedly be effective.”
J.D. Power is a global company that offers consumer insights, advisory services and data and analytics to the automotive industry.
