It's not coming to the U.S. or Canada, but Volkswagen hopes its T-Cross small crossover will appeal to young families in urban areas almost everywhere else in the world.
Based on the MQB A0 architecture, the T-Cross is intended to offer the maximum amount of rear legroom and trunk space in a small package. The vehicle debuts this year and will arrive at European dealers in spring.
"We're going worldwide with this, starting in Europe, then South America, both Chinese joint ventures and finally India," VW brand small car product line boss Andreas Krueger told Automotive News Europe. But the T-Cross will be a definite no-show in North America. It's too small.
