Canadian software company Rapid RTC has formed a new partnership with Volkswagen UK to help the automaker’s dealer network generate sales leads.
The agreement will see Rapid RTC, formerly known as DMT Development Systems, provide its digital lead management platform to Volkswagen’s network of more than 200 retailers in the United Kingdom.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Rapid RTC’s portfolio already includes several of the world’s more recognized automotive brands and works with more than 2,500 clients internationally. It now has a presence across three continents.
“Our company is experiencing tremendous growth worldwide particularly in the automotive sector,” Rapid RTC CEO Glen Demetrioff said in a statement. “The customer’s expectations are evolving at a lightning pace in all retail sectors and their online experiences continue to shape their behaviour.”
Rapid RTC equips businesses with digital tools that provide relevant and personalized experiences to every digital customer inquiry while generating more quality leads in the process.
The partnership was announced last week in the UK and the platform is starting to roll out to Volkswagen dealerships there with guidance from Rapid RTC’s UK-based dealer care team.
“It’s no secret that the automotive retail industry is seeing a wholesale shift in the customer journey, with an increasing number of customers seeking to make their enquiries via the digital showroom” VW UK Head of Sales Patrick McGillycuddy said in a statement. “Volkswagen has long recognized this trend and…has established a compelling and highly successful online retail provision.”
