We have an active apprentice program in our shop, we financially contribute to training courses and offer flexibility in schedules to accommodate courses and studying. Norris on unusual methods developed to reward employees and show them they are valued: We truly value our employees and like to reward them often. We have developed many programs, including: Employees of the month and Employee of the year; names are posted and then at a year-end celebration, all monthly recipients receive cash, and the Employee of the Year receives a trip.

Norris on lessons learned from a hiring/employment-related mistake: I have committed the mistake of hiring friends. We have learned that this brings a whole different host of challenges and issues. It can negatively alter relationships. We will refrain from this practice in the future.
