CHOSEN BECAUSE: 

Keith Crerar, 43, leads TradeRev’s global operations at a crucial time for the online-auction and appraisal company. TradeRev is, in many respects, the future of parent company KAR Auction Services Inc., which also owns the physical auction group ADESA, the largest in Canada. 

As more dealers want to trade and buy vehicles via digital auction platforms, TradeRev looks to quicken the process, cutting auction times 25 per cent and speeding up delivery. 

Before joining TradeRev, Crerar worked with ADESA, where he was vice-president of dealer services and executive director of dealer sales. He also has experience working at Ontario dealership groups in sales and F&I.

My north star as the operations leader globally is, every single process we come up with — how we hire, how we train, how we build the product — it has to be fast, fair and easy. And if it’s not, we don’t do it.”
