General Manager Matt Sarmatiuk on lessons learned from managing the dealership through the pandemic and inventory shortages: We strive to keep our team focused on what they can control, not on what they cannot. The pandemic has been tough on all of us, and our management team has been real about that and sensitive to the varying ways our team may handle or approach it. The inventory issues are similar; we are focusing on what we can control.
Sarmatiuk on how inventory shortages have affected staff scheduling and workload: Although we have not been immune to the impact of product shortages, we are thankful we have fared well comparatively. We strive to replace the shortages of volume with more quality time with the customer both in-store and online providing video interactions and going further down the purchase process in advance of meeting in-person.
