CanadaOne Auto Group has added two Toronto dealerships to its growing portfolio in Ontario, where it now owns 10 new-car stores.
The Edmonton-based dealership group announced on its social media channels Sept. 8 that it had acquired Toronto Honda and Toronto Kia, both located on the Danforth on the east end of Toronto. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Brothers Stacey and Jordan Ison were the previous owners of the dealerships, operating Toronto Honda since 1981 and neighbouring Toronto Kia since it opened in 2012.
The two-store deal is CanadaOne’s second purchase in Ontario this year. In February, it acquired Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC, one of Canada’s highest-volume GM stores, from longtime owner Jamie Massie.
CanadaOne now owns 29 new-car locations in four provinces.
