Alberta-based LAG Auto has added a second store to its portfolio of new-vehicle dealerships in Saskatchewan.
The auto retail group with locations in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan, announced via social media June 3 that it had acquired Kia of Prince Albert.
Terms of the deal, which was brokered by Dealer Solutions Mergers and Acquisitions, were not disclosed.
Kia of Prince Albert was previously owned by the Saskatoon-based FFUN Group, which has 12 new-vehicle locations, as well as a range of used-vehicle and powersports stores, mainly in Saskatchewan.
Following the purchase of the dealership in the Prairie province’s third-largest market, LAG Auto now owns 14 new-car stores, as well as three used-vehicle shops.
