Located in 100 Mile House, B.C., about 300 kilometres northeast of Vancouver, Sunrise Ford has an adjoining body shop in addition to retail and service space.
Kot said the acquisition is part of the company’s strategic plan to grow its footprint to 15 dealerships by 2029. In addition to its nine franchised stores in the Okanagan and Vancouver Island, the group owns one used-vehicle store in Kelowna.
Sunrise Ford was previously owned by Leon Chretien.
Kot said the dealership’s longtime general manager, Scott Muir, became a partner in the business as part of the acquisition.
