The Trotman Auto Group has acquired VIP Mazda in Abbotsford, B.C., adding a 12th dealership to its portfolio concentrated in the Pacific province.
The dealership group, which is also based in Abbotsford, closed on the deal earlier this month, according to Dealer Solutions Mergers and Acquisitions, which brokered the sale. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Previously owned by Bill Warkentin, VIP Mazda has been rebranded as Abbotsford Mazda following the acquisition.
The store is the Trotman Auto Group’s first Mazda location. The company now represents 14 brands across a dozen stores. It also operates an auto body shop in the Vancouver suburb of Surrey.
