Dealer Solutions Mergers and Acquisitions closed 34 deals in 2019, including the one above. It expects to close 32 deals in 2021. But, in 2020, during the pandemic, it closed a company record 40 deals.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been around for a year, with a third wave of infections possible in Canada, yet it continues to be a seller's market with it comes to dealers looking to unload their stores. Farid Ahmad of Dealer Solutions Mergers and Acquisitions explains why owners are looking to sell, what makes a dealership attractive and who the potential buyers might be in 2021.
