The Italy-based automaker is not calling its first four-door vehicle an SUV or crossover, instead referring to the high-riding Purosangue, shown above, as “something unique and distinctive.” Nor is the automaker departing from its performance pedigree. The Purosangue uses a 6.5-litre V-12 engine to accelerate to 100 km/h from rest in 3.3 seconds, Ferrari said. Deliveries are due to begin in Europe in the second quarter of 2023. Canadian pricing has not been released, but Ferrari said the Purosangue will start in Italy at 390,000 euros, or about $525,000.
