Leading Women Roundtables
Despite a greater focus by employers and society on diversity equity and inclusion, the gender gap in the auto industry remains. However, significant progress is being made to attract, retain, and advance the careers of more women thanks to initiatives like flexible work arrangements, mentorship programs and the emergence of technology, according to panelists who participated in the Automotive News Canada 4th annual Leading Women Roundtable hosted by Emma Hancock, Automotive News Content Strategist.
The first panel focuses on automotive retail with Kity Dam from Hyundai Auto Canada, Jennifer Lennox from Auto Canada, Jennifer Gilbert from Scotiabank, and Stacey Stewart from NCM Associates.
The second panel spotlights OEMs and suppliers with Shelley Palethorpe from Honda Canada, Jennifer Halleran Dingwall from Scotiabank, Christine Smith from Hyundai Auto Canada, and Lynne Piette at Volkswagen Canada.
