Ford Motor Co. on Tuesday became the latest automaker to export a U.S. loyalty program north of the border.
Ford of Canada is now offering FordPass Rewards to its customers. It’s an app-based loyalty program that awards points for purchasing or leasing a new Ford vehicle, purchasing a certified used vehicle, or for servicing their vehicle at a Ford dealership.
Points can be redeemed towards vehicle purchases, parts and service at participating dealerships.
Ford of Canada said in a statement that “virtually every dealership across Canada is participating in FordPass Rewards.”
The program has been available to U.S. customers for nearly two years.
“Launching FordPass Rewards in Canada is the next step in our commitment to elevate the customer experience, drive brand loyalty and show appreciation to our customers,” Ford of Canada Vice-President of Customer Service Bill Rowe said in a statement.
Customers can enroll in FordPass Rewards through the FordPass app, which is available for download in the App Store and Google Play or through FordPassRewards.ca.
The FordPass Rewards program arrived just days after Stellantis (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) brought the Jeep Wave program to Canada from the United States.
