Canadian JLR dealers prepared to sue automaker over its EV, retail plans

JLR dealers in Canada are preparing a joint lawsuit against the automaker’s Canadian unit as the company moves to reduce the number of Jaguar stores, shift the brand to an online retailing model and limit annual sales to 700 vehicles from 8,000 under a new electric-vehicle strategy, according to dealers and industry sources.
